The last Humpback of the season, near Lana'iSeveral companies offer snorkeling excursions to the reefs off the small island of Lana'i, which lies to the West of Maui. If you want to spend some time on the beach, you need to book with Trilogy. You can add on a Zodiac-style raft to circle the island looking for dolphins. Important: do not stand directly under a metal bar while bouncing over the waves. Relax on the beach, or slip into Hulopo'e Bay for some pretty good snorkeling.
